Memory care cost checklist

A home's true monthly cost is the base fee plus the add-ons. Answer the five questions you need in writing from the home, and this tool tells you whether you are ready to compare homes fairly.

This result uses part of the data, because the data set is large.

How we calculated this

The tool asks five questions. Each one is a cost fact a family needs in writing before comparing homes: the base fee and what it includes, the add-ons and when they apply, the deposit and refund terms, the notice period and cost, and whether the rate is guaranteed.

The verdict is the number of answers a family holds. Five of five means ready to compare this home with another fairly. One to four means the missing answers are the ones that change the monthly cost later. Zero means start with the written fee breakdown.

This tool does not calculate a price and it does not know any home's fees. Memory care prices are not public data, so this site never guesses one.

Method checked on 2026-10-03.

This is a checklist, not a quote, a contract or financial advice. Prices and terms come from the home in writing.

Questions

Does this tool tell me what a home costs?
No. Prices are not public data and this site does not guess them. The checklist makes sure you collect the five figures that set a home's real monthly cost.
What should I do with the finished checklist?
Use the same five questions for every home, in the same order and the same period, and compare the filled-in tables. Ask for each figure in writing.
