Terms of service

MemoryCareHomes is an independent directory of memory care homes. Each listing is a licence record from a public register: it shows the licence number, the body that issued it, and the date we read the register, so you can check a home before you visit or sign.

MemoryCareHomes is not a regulator and not a care provider. A listing is not a recommendation or an endorsement, and nothing on this site is medical or legal advice. Licence data can change after we read the register, so always confirm the licence on the register itself.

Some features need an account: the owner dashboard, claims, submissions and edit suggestions. You may claim a listing only if you are entitled to represent that memory care home. Anything you submit must be accurate and must not mislead families about a home's licence.

We may edit, refuse or remove any submission, suggestion or listing content that is inaccurate, misleading or abusive. Claim links expire; a claim that is never verified changes nothing.

Paid plans are monthly or annual subscriptions, as shown on the pricing page. A subscription renews automatically each period until you cancel it. A paid plan changes only how a listing looks and where it appears; the licence details always come from the public register, on every plan.

You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from the billing portal in your dashboard. Changes apply at the end of the billing period you paid for, and your plan stays active until then. Our refund policy is on the refunds page.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays active for 7 days while you fix the payment method, then returns to the free plan.

Do not submit false information, impersonate a memory care home you do not represent, abuse the contact forms, or interfere with the running of the site. We may suspend accounts that do.

We work to keep register data accurate, but registers change and mistakes happen. The site is provided as-is; to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of directory content. Check the licence on the public register before you sign anything.
